Ephesians 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
One of the things ignored or rejected by modern man is the role of the unseen realm in world affairs. I would even go so far as to say that it is often overlooked by Bible believers, both Jewish and Christian, in their day-to-day affairs as well. Much of Bible prophecy is centered upon the role of the Messiah (Jesus/Yeshua) to destroy ALL the works of the Devil (see 1 John 3:8). We tend to focus on the visible corruptions of the earth, but much of this is caused through the affairs of the invisible realm, soiled by the Fallen Angels and the demonic spirits of their seed (Genesis 6:1-4). Eschatological hermeneutics that fail to grasp the significance of this unseen warfare, beyond its impact on man alone, will always yield an incomplete understanding of Bible prophecy, at best, and will also seriously confuse the interpretation of key biblical passages. The entire Bible clearly illustrates that, as the "end-times" unfold, the ancient manifestations of the supernatural realm will once again return with a vengeance - all upon a modern world that quit believing in such "foolish" things long ago...
