Since January 2012, Zion's Roar Ministries has met every Friday night to celebrate the entrance of the Sabbath with our Shabbat Bible Study (as you know, the Jewish day begins in the evening as per Torah (Genesis/B'resheit 1) due to the phrase "evening and morning" throughout the days of creation). We have attendees from a variety of both Messianic and Christian backgrounds, so we have always scheduled our meeting times so as not to conflict with their Saturday and/or Sunday services elsewhere. Yet, many of our members have expressed a desire to meet more often, and I too, have felt this prompting. So, we are launching an additional meeting day entitled, "The Eighth Day," Sundays at 4 PM CST. This timing serves several purposes: 1) We are still unlikely to conflict with anyone's services elsewhere, 2) it is still on my days off, and 3) it also honors the Western tradition of weekly observance on the day of Yeshua's resurrection, IN ADDITION to our Shabbat Bible Study honoring the Sabbath! Yes, my friends, the Sabbath is still THE Sabbath, and yet, we now get to enjoy a double-blessing by celebrating YESHUA together the following day too! One caveat: As you know, I am still in bi-vocational ministry, meaning I work full-time +OT in the secular world workweek, and minister on the weekends, AND try to balance family time with my precious wife and (mostly grown) children, and take care of whatever else life throws my way. So, until I retire, or until G-d miraculously delivers a financial miracle that allows me to focus on Zion's Roar Ministries full-time, or until Yeshua returns to take us home, I will be balancing my time the best I can with the support of my wife. However, please show me some grace if we ever need to cancel, postpone, or otherwise alter a scheduled meeting for some reason. The number 8 represents new beginnings in scripture and our new life in Him. The imagery above represents Yeshua's restoration of fellowship that man once enjoyed in the Garden of G-d and reconnected stairs showing "The Way" between Earth and Heaven in Him. Join us in-person or on-line at www.zionsroar.com/video for "The Eighth Day," and THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR ALL OF YOUR SUPPORT for the last 8 years! Shalom!

The LORD also shall roar out of Zion, and utter his voice from Jerusalem; and the heavens and the earth
shall shake: but the LORD will be the hope of his people, and the strength of the children of Israel.
