Yukon Mobile Meals

1 Corinthians 13:2 "And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing."  Yukon Mobile Meals has been in continuous operation since 1979 when it first began providing meals for elderly, handicapped, or convalescing persons unable to prepare their own meals. It was a family affair that started in a home kitchen, but they now have access to city facilities with much larger industrial capacities. Jason (see red shirt above) prepares most of the 100+ meals delivered per day by volunteer drivers along seven different city routes. Some of the founding members of Zion's Roar Ministries also volunteer with Yukon Mobile Meals, so it seemed a natural choice for our periodic Tzedekah donation. If you've never set aside spare change to donate to charity, you should consider doing it as a family or small group. Try it! You'll be surprised how much can build up over time. ZRM spare change contributions filled the Tzedekah box in a few short months allowing us to contribute $400 to the worthy mission of Yukon Mobile Meals. After all, with all the things going "wrong" in this world, wouldn't you like to help something go "right?" Yukon Mobile Meals is also an "Amazon Smile" recognized charity, so when shopping on-line, you can always designate a portion of your eligible purchases to be donated to Yukon Mobile Meals.
